PloneTranslationAssistant offers automatic translation services to translate documents. Requires LinguaPlone installed.
The goal of this product is to be able to use translation services (like altavista or google) to do a first translation of a document within the LinguaPlone paradigm (i.e. translated documents are the translations of a canonical document). Such a translation is never perfect but always a good point to get started and help maintaining translations in multilingual sites.
This product integrates with (and needs) Archetypes content type and Lingua Plone. It is not intrusive in the sense that it just adds a tool and a new tab for Plone documents. A translator registry mecanism allows you to create you own wrapper around a new translator that you may have (like.
