Structured Document is a content type allowing people to structure their document into chapters and then into paragraphs.

FEATURES

This product provides 3 content types with specific behaviors :

  • Structured Document
    A document with a Rich Text area (kupu), a title and a description. It is a folderish type that can contains Chapters. Several views are developped for it, one including a chapter index.
  • Structured Chapter
    A simple folderish types that is Ordered and implements the next-previous navigation. It can contains Paragraphs.
  • Structured Paragraph
    A document with a Rich Text area (kupu). This is not an usual Doucment though, since it an hold and image. This is made for images that do not belong to anything outside the document itself. This image can be place on the left or right, with a caption text. The paragraphs can be reorganized into a chapter.

GOALS

This content type will be used to edit large book-like documents. the idea is to provide a full import/export support, including Structured Text to LaTeX and to PDF. It still has to be polished and ajaxified (in a very tiny bit).
