Enable Plone to synthesize speech using an open source text-to-speech server
This tool enables Plone to convert written text into audible speech, by contacting an instance of the open source MARY text-to-speech server.
This is the text-to-speech synthesis system MARY (Modular Architecture for Research on speech sYnthesis). Apart from being open-source and multi-platform, its main feature is its flexibility allowing the access to intermediate processing results in XML format.
