Gossip is a forum, based on Archetypes. It can be installed on Plone version 2.1 to 2.5.
What does it provide ?
Gossip provides 3 content types :
A forum
This is the very top level, it can contain threads and it supports search.
A thread
This is a discussion. It's the top level, the number one !
Templating is based on this type and a thread will be the root of all the posts
A post
This is a simple reply to a thread

- 2 workflows, allowing, amongst other things :
- Moderation on thread and posts
- Anonymous posting (captcha system to come)
- A post quoting system
- Several custom templates (that will fit most of the Plone sites)
- A dedicated catalog
