GMail Authentication Plugin for the Pluggable Authentication Service allows anyone with a GMail account to log in using their GMail username and password. If you're looking to write your own plugins, this is a very simple one, and can be used as a learning tool or even a template.
This plugin, installed in a Pluggable Authentication Service user folder, will accept any GMail login credentials.
This is also a demonstration of what a simple plugin for PAS looks like. Other Authentication plugins can use this as a template; only minor changes would be needed for other types of plugins.
