ATSchemaEditorNG is a set of mix-in classes that provide a TTW interface for managing Archetypes schemas.
ATSchemaEditorNG provides a means of allowing through the web (TTW) management of Archetypes schemas. Features include:
- containment- or tool-based schema management
- different schemas for the same content type in different locations
- hooks for add TTW support for custom fields, widgets, or storages
- hooks for extending the editor UI to supply custom attributes to fields
- schema caching for performance
Code making use of ATSchemaEditorNG for schema management can be found in the PloneCollectorNG, CMFMember, and Inventory Builder products. Andreas Jung (ATSchemaEditorNG's original author) has a tutorial on using ATSchemaEditorNG available on his site.
