ZEPP is a project management product built on archetypes
A ZEPP project has predefined Releases. Each release has associcated requirements. Each requirment has to be met by tasks. The definition of zepp projects supports the above concepts.

To define a project in Zepp 1)Add a zepp project 2)Add a Release 3)Add requirments and associate with release 4)Add tasks, assign them to project members and associate them with requirements previously defined

Roles Following are ZEPP specific roles. A portal member should be assigned one of the following roles to be able to access ZEPP. ZePM?: The project manager . This role can review and approve time sheets submitted by a project lead ZePL? Project lead can approve time sheets ZeMember? Default role of project members.

Every member of a project team can add release, requirements, tasks, testcases, submit timesheets etc

ZEPP and Plone: A ZEPP site is a repository of ZEPP related content in a Plone portal. On installing a ZEPP product within plone a Zepp repository will be added automatically.

Currently only a portal site manager can add ZEPP projects. The manger will then use the "team" tab on the project to search for portal members and assign them local roles according to the level of access needed. For instance, if user bob needs to manage a project then he should be given the ZePM? role

Every member with a ZEPP related role will see a My Desktop link in the navigation slot . This is also accessible via the Project Planner Portal action Tab.
