Four AT Content Types that can help you to present research project structures (e.g. at Universities) ...

ATResearchProject has been developed at the Ecology Centre, Kiel University, Germany (until ATResearchProject v0.4.0rc1).

ATResearchProject provides four content types: ATResearchField, ATResearchProject, ATResearchSubproject and ATResearchProjectList.ATResearchProject also provides a tool: portal_researchproject, that allows you to configure departments at your institute.

  • Research institutes or research centres at universities might have some fields they employ their research in. These field descriptions can be very general (ATResearchField).
  • A 'Research Project' (containing abstract, keywords, project coordination, staff, a main text body, a logo etc) then can normally be assigned to one or several departments (cf. portal_researchproject) and one or several research fields. The allocated departments and research projects will be listed at the foot of your research fields.
  • Research Projects can also be substructured by Research Subprojects.
  • You can also add Research Project Lists to your portal that allow you to predefine search requests for Research (Sub)Projects according to individual search critieria.
  • Last but not least ATResearchProject adds a tab to your portal that allows the site's visitor to shape his/her own search requests dynamically (not depending on what the portal members provided in Research Project Lists).
ATResearchProject has implicite international language (i18n) support, but for now only German and English are available. Translators are welcome to translate the product's page templates.
