PloneIrcChat provides the ability for users to connect to remote IRC servers. Such a product was envisioned to be used as a support tool so that customers could communicate with support personnel. This product requires a (practically any) java-capable browser -- as far back as Internet Explorer 5.0 even.
PloneIrcChat is a java applet based chat interface designed to work with Internet Explorer 5+ and Firefox 1.0+.
