BloggingAPI creates CMF/Plone content using popular weblog clients. It does this by using tools that support popular weblog APIs and providing a skin to browse added content with a date based navigation system. Currently supports the following APIs: Blogger, MetaWeblog and MovableType
BloggingAPI is designed to allow users more freedom to create content in a Zope CMF instance.

Here is a partial list of apps support these APIs:

- `w.bloggar`_ (windows)
- blogBuddy_ (windows)
- plog_ (palm)
- bloggenmoz_ (mac,win,linux/unix)
- iblog_ (mac)
- blogApp_ (mac)
- `Word Blogger`_
- `pyrite blogauthor`_ (any platform where python runs)
- zempt_ (win)

The later two support MovableType and MetaWeblog. Haven't checked the others. I have a patch for pyrite that allows one to write in ReST and then convert to HTML before posting.
