Bazaar is a product for Classified Ad System

Bazaar is a Plone Product to allow buyers and sellers to place ads for services and products.

Administrators can setup an unlimited number of Product/Service Categories.

Users can list items for sale or wanted within Categories, including images, product information, geographical location, and price. Each User maintains their contact data and controls when ads appear.

Ads can be browsed by Category and through a number of Search Filters for each Category.

Bazaar includes provisions for setting up currencies to capture the price of an item and the geographical region in which the item is advertised.

Dependencies

  • Plone 2.0.5
  • Archetypes 1.3.x (developed with 1.3.2-final)
  • ATSchemaEditorNG 0.3.1 (05.09.2005)
  • ZopeTree

Customization

Use AppConfig.py menawhile to define regions. This feature will be improved (through the web editing) in the future.

Bazaar contains two pre-defined portlets. "Search box" and "Last items". These portlets are not installed by default.

Search box portlet

Search box portlet is displayed only when current displayed item is "Bazaar, Category or Item". Search is performed inside current bazaar only. To add portlet to the site, go to ZMI, navigate to root or to bazaar folder, click properties, add or modify right_slots property (lines type) and add here/portlet_bazaar_search/macros/portlet

Last items portlet

This portlet is used for displaying recent items in bazaar. Use it as: here/portlet_bazaar_last_items/macros/portlet This portlet does not make differences among created bazaars yet. There will be displayed all items from all bazaars on the site.

There are currently no items in this folder.
